Coupe de France Adultes / Adult French Cup

La Coupe de France 2007 est annoncée officiellement : elle aura lieu au Havre les 24 et 25 mars 2007.
Cette compétition est ouverte aux patineurs internationaux.
Des niveaux « Masters Elite » font leur apparition pour les anciens patineurs Elite. Sinon, les niveaux et durées sont les même que d’habitudes avec Masters, Or, Argent et Bronze, avec les catégories d’âges suivantes :
- Jeunes Adultes : 18 - 27 ans
- Catégorie I : 28 - 36 ans
- Catégorie II : 37 - 46 ans
- Catégorie III : 47 - 56 ans
- Catégorie IV : 57+
Les règles sont détaillées et répondent enfin aux questions si souvent posées.
Le patinage solo est représenté, mais aussi le couple et la danse en couple uniquement, pas de danse solo. La synchro sera également présente.
Tirage et pot d’accueil auront lieu le vendredi 23 mars à 19h30. La date limite d’inscription est fixée au jeudi 15 février 2007. Les frais montent à 60 euros.

The French Cup 2007 is officially announced : it will take place in Le Havre on the 24th and 25th of March.
This competition is open to international skaters.
New levels named « Masters Elite » are new for former Elite skaters. Same levels and durations as usual with Masters, Gold, Silver and Bronze, with these age categories :
- Young Adults : 18 - 27 years old
- Category I : 28 - 36/li>
- Category II : 37 - 46
- Category III : 47 - 56
- Category IV : 57+
The rules are a bit more detailed tahn usual, which answer the frequently asked questions on un clear points.
Free skating solo is here, there is also pairs, dance in pairs only (no solo dance), synchronized skating is also here.
The draw and welcome drink will take place on friday, March the 23rd at 7:30pm. The limit date for subscription is fixed on thursday, February the 15th 2007. The cost is 60 euros.

New “english” category

Interview with Sally Hartwig
Friday, July 7th, 2006Sally Hartwig is a Belgium Adult Skater who started ice skating at the age of two until 15 years old in France and the U.S. She stopped skating for a period of 10 years and started skating again as an adult skater at the age of 30. She continues skating now at the Masters Level in adult events.
She organizes the Dune of Flanders Cup which takes place each year in December, in Dunkerque-France.

Interview with Barbara Standke, adult skater and much more
Friday, July 7th, 2006Barbara Standke is an adult skater much committed to the sport. She skates in the public sessions of the ice rink in Villard-de-Lans, France due to the fact that she cannot become a member of the local skating club because she is an adult. She organises the “Mountain Cup” competition which takes place once a year at the end of May/beginning of June and she also competes in this competition. Barbara is a member of the ISU working group for adult skating led by Rhea Schwartz.
