Sally Hartwig is a Belgium Adult Skater who started ice skating at the age of two until 15 years old in France and the U.S. She stopped skating for a period of 10 years and started skating again as an adult skater at the age of 30. She continues skating now at the Masters Level in adult events.
She organizes the Dune of Flanders Cup which takes place each year in December, in Dunkerque-France.

Barbara Standke is an adult skater much committed to the sport. She skates in the public sessions of the ice rink in Villard-de-Lans, France due to the fact that she cannot become a member of the local skating club because she is an adult. She organises the “Mountain Cup” competition which takes place once a year at the end of May/beginning of June and she also competes in this competition. Barbara is a member of the ISU working group for adult skating led by Rhea Schwartz.

La Russian Cup 2006 est une toute nouvelle compétition de patinage adulte. Elle aura lieu les samedi 7 et dimanche 8 octobre à Nizhniy Novgorod, à 400 km à l’est de Moscou, dans le Sport Palace “Nagorniy”, une piste de 60 x 30 m.

Au programme, danse et artistique en solo et en couple et programme d’interprêtation, pour 50 euros, les règlements ISU seront adoptés.
L’édition 2006 de Coupe de la Dune de Flandres aura lieu les 8, 9 et 10 décembre à Dunkerque.
Au programme, artistique libre solo et couple, danse solo et couple, interprêtation, improvisation.
Le nouveau système de jugement CoP (Code of Points) sera de nouveau utilisé.
Pour mémoire, l’an passé, nous étions 98 compétiteurs venant de 10 pays.
La Commission Sportive Nationale de Patinage Artistique (CSNPA) de la FFSG a publié un brouillon de règlement pour la prochaine Coupe de France 2007.

Grand moment dans le patinage adulte français : Sally nous informe à 9h14 ce jour que la Commission Sportive Nationale de Patinage Artistique a entériné la décision d’organiser une Coupe de France de patinage artistique adulte.
Cette Coupe de France aura lieu en mars, pour les patineurs âgés entre 18 et 70 ans.
